Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Auto ADT System Level Test Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software engineering, focusing on system-level testing and debugging of Qualcomm's automotive SOCs and modules.

The role involves deep interaction with different software and hardware teams to understand Premium tier Auto SOC Architecture and perform detailed hardware and software debugging.

Key responsibilities include developing automated test solutions, characterizing various aspects of SOC/module performance (CPU, GPU, Memory, Multimedia, etc.), and working with production test teams to develop effective screening processes. You'll also be involved in creating automated reporting systems and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science or electrical engineering, with experience in Android architecture, software automation, and hardware testing. Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Java, Python, and familiarity with version control systems is essential.

Responsibilities For (Auto)ADT System Level Test Development Engineer, Sr

  • Develop and execute system level tests for Auto Premium SOCs/modules on custom test hardware
  • Coordinate and drive debug of hardware and software failures
  • Characterize CPU, GPU, Memory, Multimedia, Audio, Thermal and Power performance of SOC/module
  • Work with team to develop automatic reports, dashboards, and charts
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders during project execution
  • Develop test cases for Android based devices
  • Work with lab instruments like Power Supplies, Multimeter, Spectrum analyzer

Requirements For (Auto)ADT System Level Test Development Engineer, Sr

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
  • Strong understanding of software automation and Android (Auto) architecture
  • Experience in analyzing specifications, creating test plans and test execution
  • Strong software skills (C#, .NET framework, Java, C/C++, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with Perforce, GIT, or other Source Control SW
  • Knowledge of Android Architecture, Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP
  • Experience with debugging tools and JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32
