Automotive -Embedded Software Applications Engineer (m/f/d) – Multimedia

Qualcomm Technologies International GmbH is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Applications Engineer to join their Automotive Application Engineering Group. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive technology, specifically focusing on multimedia systems and infotainment solutions.

The position involves working closely with Qualcomm's automotive partners and customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization. You'll be responsible for all aspects of embedded software, including design, development, feature prototyping, integration, and optimization of multimedia systems for automotive applications.

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge infotainment and digital cockpit technologies from leading auto manufacturers and Tier1s. The role requires expertise in embedded multimedia development across audio, display, graphics, and camera domains, along with strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with various operating systems including Linux, Android, and real-time OS platforms.

Key responsibilities include providing direct customer support, customizing and optimizing software solutions, debugging complex issues, and ensuring successful product launches. You'll need to quickly understand automotive platform architectures, work with technical specifications, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of embedded software development experience, strong customer-facing skills, and a deep understanding of multimedia systems.
