Description For Camera System engineer, Staff / Senior, Motion Estimation

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

In this role as a Camera System engineer specializing in Motion Estimation, you will:

  • Support commercialization of state-of-the-art solutions, tuning and image quality evaluation
  • Develop and implement innovative algorithms for motion estimation and motion alignment prediction with low latency
  • As a member of Qualcomm camera system team, you will have the opportunity to develop solutions and influence millions of end users, improving their camera experience and image quality

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Expertise in Image processing / video processing / computer vision with at least 6 years of experience
  • Good knowledge and experience in programming: Proficiency in C/C++ (required), Matlab and python (advantage)
  • Knowhow and experience in system / camera flows (advantage)
  • Experience in camera/image related technology tuning and commercialization (advantage)
  • Excellent verbal communication in English
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (required)
  • MSc or PhD in the field of image processing / computer vision (advantage)
