Camera System engineer, Staff / Senior, Video AI Camera

Qualcomm is seeking a Camera System engineer for their Video AI Camera team. This role combines expertise in image processing, video processing, and computer vision to develop cutting-edge solutions for AI cameras. As a member of Qualcomm's camera system team, you'll have the opportunity to influence millions of end users by improving their camera experience and image quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the commercialization of state-of-the-art solutions through image quality engineering, tuning, and evaluation
• Developing and implementing innovative algorithms for AI cameras, with a focus on temporal filter algorithms in video
• Collaborating across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 6 years of experience in image processing, video processing, or computer vision
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming, with additional skills in Matlab and Python being advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in system and camera flows
• Experience in camera/image-related technology tuning and commercialization
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English
• A BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with an MSc or PhD in image processing or computer vision being a plus
