Chipset Project Engineer, Director/Sr. Director

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chipset Project Engineer to lead the overall engineering efforts for mobile chipset development. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving innovation and excellence in semiconductor technology.

The role involves comprehensive oversight of mobile chipset development, including Application Processors, Modems, PMICs, Connectivity chips, Transceivers, and RF front end components. You'll be working in a highly matrixed environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.

As the engineering lead, you'll be responsible for:

• Planning and executing chipset development from concept to commercialization
• Managing engineering KPIs including performance, power, reliability, and stability
• Working closely with Program and Product Managers
• Resolving engineering issues across subsystems
• Serving as the final escalation point for customer engineering issues
• Communicating with executive leadership

The ideal candidate brings:

• 10+ years of semiconductor product development experience
• Strong technical leadership background
• Expert knowledge of Application Processor/Modem chipsets
• Experience working with executive leadership
• Proven track record in large matrixed organizations
