Description For Chipset Systems Architect

Qualcomm is seeking a Chipset Systems Architect to join their innovative team in Bangalore. In this role, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enable cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering with a strong background in 4G/5G/6G systems and cellular standards. You'll work with various aspects of SoC design, including power delivery, interfaces, and multiple functional areas. The role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be working independently and influencing key organizational decisions.

Responsibilities For Chipset Systems Architect

  • Research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture
  • Perform functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications
  • Develop and analyze system level design
  • Collaborate with teams to complete project work
  • Develop new and innovative ideas
  • Drive triage of problems at the system level

Requirements For Chipset Systems Architect

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of 4G/5G/6G systems and cellular standards experience
  • 4+ years of experience in mobile, PC, Automotive or IoT industry
  • Knowledge of ASIL, FUSA, FMEA, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508
  • Experience with full product lifecycle
  • In-depth knowledge of power delivery, PDN, component selection
  • Good knowledge of interfaces (USB, PCIe, SD/eMMC, UFS, LPDDRx, etc)
  • Good domain knowledge of SoCs functional areas
