CPU Core Validation Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a CPU Core Validation Engineer to join their CPU Validation team. This role focuses on validating CPU core pipeline architecture and micro-architecture features. The position requires extensive experience in Silicon Validation and brings together aspects of hardware and software engineering.

The ideal candidate will work closely with CPU design and verification teams to develop comprehensive validation strategies, test plans, and methodologies. They will be responsible for pre-Silicon validation using emulators and post-Silicon validation, requiring strong debugging skills and the ability to work with various teams including SOC bring-up and software teams.

Key technical areas include microprocessor architecture, cache coherence, memory ordering and consistency, prefetching, branch prediction, renaming, speculative execution, and address translation/memory management. The role demands expertise in assembly programming, C/C++, and various software development tools.
