Qualcomm Noida CPU team is hiring for developing high performance and power optimized custom CPU cores. As a CPU Physical Design Engineer, you will handle hardening complex HMs from RTL to GDS (Synthesis, PNR, Timing). You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and passionate engineers in the world to create designs that push the envelope on performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements
- Handle complex ECOs for timing convergence across multiple corners
- Implement power minimization techniques
- Work with industry-standard tools for physical implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in Physical design and STA
- Solid understanding of industry-standard tools (Genus, Innovus, FC, PT, Tempus, Voltas, and Redhawk)
- Experience in deep submicron process technology nodes
- Knowledge of high performance and low power implementation methods
- Strong fundamentals and willingness to push PPA to the best possible extent
- Expertise in Perl and TCL languages
