In this role, you will be at the forefront of CPU design, working with microarchitecture and RTL design teams to implement designs that meet aggressive power, area, and performance goals. You'll be responsible for synthesizing Verilog RTL into gate-level designs, performing optimizations, and executing SynthPlace & Route operations using industry-standard tools to deliver GDS.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of CPU microarchitecture, experience with deep submicron process technology nodes, and expertise in library cells and optimizations. You'll need to demonstrate solid understanding of industry standard tools for synthesis, place & route, and tapeout flows, along with experience in signoff timing/power analysis.
