Cyber Threat Response Engineer, Senior

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Response Engineer to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This role is critical in maintaining the organization's cybersecurity posture through 24x7 monitoring and response to security threats. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in security incident response and strong analytical skills.

The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for monitoring and triaging security events from various sources, including social engineering attacks, malware, DDoS, and ransomware incidents. You'll be using advanced SIEM tools and orchestration workflows to analyze and respond to security threats, while maintaining strict SLA compliance.

As a senior member of the team, you'll collaborate with Tier2 and Tier3 teams, providing guidance and escalating complex security events when necessary. The position offers growth opportunities through continuous learning, participation in brown bag sessions, and exposure to evolving security threats and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with SIEM tools and security incident response, along with relevant certifications like CEH, Security+, or OSCP.
