Data Engineer (m/f/d) ADAS/AD - Qualcomm Unterschleissheim, Germany

Arriver™, a software unit of Qualcomm, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Analytics group in Unterschleißheim, Germany. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated cloud solutions for large-scale performance evaluation of ADAS/AD sensors and functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining a data analytics framework for ADAS/AD features and systems
• Using Python and IAC tools to deploy and maintain cloud (AWS) infrastructure for massive scale Data Pipelines
• Developing and deploying APIs and services for large-scale execution and analysis of vehicle drive data
• End-to-end engineering of data analytics pipelines, including orchestrating Kubernetes workflows, developing ETL pipelines, and monitoring system health
• Interacting with stakeholders to improve existing workflows and services
• Implementing state-of-the-art concepts for automotive analytics
• Adapting solutions for international customer projects
• Working in an agile, international team environment

The ideal candidate should have:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), Kubernetes, infrastructure as code (CDK or TerraForm), and workflow management tools
• Multiple years of experience in Python and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, analytic engines, and big data file formats
• Knowledge of standard software development processes
• Effective communication skills and fluent English
