Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Design Verification - Sr Staff Engineer to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, technical guidance, and execution of silicon validation for ARM or DSP-based multiple SOC projects and platforms.
Key responsibilities and requirements include:
- Leveraging knowledge and experience in digital design and SOC architecture
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and experience with HVL such as System Verilog, UVM/OVM & System C
- Experience with HDL such as Verilog
- Knowledge of ARM/DSP CPU architecture and high-speed peripherals like USB2/3, PCIE, or Audio/Multimedia
- Familiarity with Power-aware Verification, GLS, and Test vector generation is a plus
- Experience with version managers like Clearcase/perforce
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, or Python
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Experience in Hifi Processor, Soundwire interface, ANC, DMA, and I2S verification is a plus
The role requires a minimum of 12-15 years of experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering. Responsibilities For Design Verification - Sr Staff Engineer
- Provide leadership and technical guidance for silicon validation of ARM or DSP based multiple SOC projects and platforms
- Execute silicon validation projects
- Apply knowledge of digital design and SOC architecture to verification tasks
- Work with high-speed peripherals like USB2/3, PCIE, or Audio/Multimedia
- Contribute to power-aware verification and test vector generation
- Utilize version control systems for project management
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and testing
- Analyze and debug complex hardware issues
- Potentially work on Hifi Processor, Soundwire interface, ANC, DMA, and I2S verification
