Description For Hardware DevOps Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Hardware DevOps Engineer to join their team in Austin. This role combines traditional DevOps practices with hardware design processes, making it a unique opportunity for those interested in both infrastructure automation and hardware development. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts, troubleshooting system performance issues, and providing essential documentation and training. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps practices and preferably some familiarity with hardware design processes.

Qualcomm offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $154,000 to $231,000, along with annual bonuses and RSU grants. Requirements For Hardware DevOps Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in a DevOps role, preferably in hardware design environment
  • Experience with Python, Bash, Perl, GNU make
  • Experience with git, clearcase
  • Experience with Jenkins, github actions
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Verilog and hardware design processes is a plus
