Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their ADAS/Autonomy team in Bangalore. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of automotive technology and embedded systems development.
The position involves developing optimized solutions built on DSP, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms for Qualcomm's ADAS/Autonomy SoCs. You'll be responsible for understanding and defining Safety Concepts and Architecture, creating Software Safety requirements, and implementing safety processes following ISO26262 standards.
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you'll work with both local and global teams to implement and productize Automotive-specific features, including software enablement (drivers/BSP/RTOS/AUTOSAR MCAL), security, functional safety, and power management for current and next-generation SoCs.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and executing validation plans, conducting root-cause analysis, and providing detailed corrective actions. You'll also work closely with design, production, and bench IP teams while maintaining strong collaboration with customers, architects, and test/integration teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in embedded software development, particularly with C and Assembly programming, experience with RTOS and Autosar MCAL development, and a solid understanding of automotive software development practices. Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety standards and ASPICE processes is highly valued.
