Embedded Platform Dev- Lead Engineer, Senior

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Embedded Platform Dev Lead Engineer to join their ADAS/Autonomy team. This role focuses on developing optimized solutions for Qualcomm's ADAS/Autonomy SoCs, with a strong emphasis on functional safety and automotive software development. The position requires expertise in system and SoC SW level functional safety concepts, working with ISO26262 processes, and implementing automotive-specific features.

The ideal candidate will work with both local and global teams to implement and productize various automotive features, including software enablement (drivers/BSP/RTOS/AUTOSAR MCAL), security, functional safety, and power management for current and next-generation SoCs. They will be responsible for coordinating validation efforts, addressing technical challenges, and working closely with hardware teams.

Key responsibilities include defining safety concepts and architecture, developing safety software, and ensuring compliance with ISO26262 and ASPICE processes. The role involves significant interaction with customers, architects, and test/integration teams.
