Description For Engineer- Graphics

Qualcomm is seeking a talented Graphics Engineer to join their Adreno GPU Software team, focusing on next-generation GPU Developer Tools. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of GPU optimization for Snapdragon Adreno GPU while gaining insights into next-generation hardware design.

The position involves working on cutting-edge graphics technology, including the design and development of profiling and performance analysis tools, GPU debugging tools, and collaboration with hardware and software teams. You'll be instrumental in performance validation, analysis, and new feature development, while also working closely with the developer ecosystem, partners, and OEMs.

The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills in C/C++, combined with deep knowledge of GPU hardware and graphics concepts. Experience with graphics applications using Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, or WebGL is highly valued, as is familiarity with game engines and graphics frameworks.

Requirements For Engineer- Graphics

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Extensive programming knowledge in C/C++
  • Strong knowledge of GPU hardware and graphics concepts
  • Experience with graphics applications (Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL)
  • Knowledge of recent graphics trends, especially ray tracing and emerging capabilities
