Engineer, Senior

As a Qualcomm Quality Engineer, you will plan, implement, and manage compliance of design, development/manufacturing, production processes, and/or quality requirements with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Supplier manufacturing quality activities and drive improvement actions
• Monitor and track yield to achieve and exceed targets
• Handle quality complaints, problem-solving, and follow up on supplier actions
• Manage supplier audits for quality compliance and new product launch
• Drive problem investigations and validate corrective/preventive actions
• Conduct OSAT related change management and develop monitoring systems
• Lead cross-functional teams to contain and prevent quality excursions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Industrial & Pro Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science
• At least 8 years of related experience in SQE or process engineering in semiconductor environment
• Proficient in supplier management and development on technical aspects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Training and auditor certification in VDA6.3, IATF16949, and advanced knowledge of QM methods
• Good communication and driving skills
• Good English skills both oral and written
• Able to manage frequent travel to OSATs
