Engineer/Sr Engineer, SOC Data Acquisition Tool & Infra SW

Qualcomm is seeking an Engineer/Sr Engineer for SOC Data Acquisition Tool & Infra SW to join their Hardware Analytics R&D team in Bangalore, India. This role involves developing state-of-the-art Big Data Analytics & AI/ML Platform for chip debug, power-performance profiling, and validation purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, data analytics, and SOC architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and validating tool features, including algorithms, analytics, AI/ML, GUI & charts, and APIs.
2. Creating complex data processing pipelines for metrics, statistical analysis, and actionable insights.
3. Designing and architecting infrastructure and cloud platforms.
4. Understanding SOC hardware and debug features for various use cases.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on silicon data acquisition and analysis.
6. Ensuring timely delivery and quality of projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on coding and designing software/GUI
• Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of data analytics and Python data analytics libraries
• Fast learner with a strong technical background

Preferred qualifications include experience with ARM CPU and SoC architectures, debug tools, silicon debug, AWS Cloud stack, and machine learning.
