Description For Extended Reality (XR) Software Team – Multimedia Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their Extended Reality (XR) software team in Bangalore, India. The role involves software and system design, development, performance & power optimization of XR products built using Qualcomm's industry-leading SoC running Android and Linux platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of multimedia software in domains such as Virtual/Augmented Reality, Camera, Graphics, Video, Display, and Computer Vision. They should be an expert in C/C++ programming with embedded multimedia product development experience in Android Smartphones or Network-based Video/Camera products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and decomposing complex software systems
  • Collaborating with others to improve overall design
  • Working on cutting-edge XR products that will define future immersive experiences
  • Designing, optimizing, integrating, testing, and commercializing Qualcomm XR solutions

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Computer Engineering or related discipline from Top Notch institutes
