FAE / Software Applications Engineer (m/f/d) - Qualcomm Italy

Qualcomm, a global leader in communications technology with over 40,000 employees, is seeking a senior FAE/Software Applications Engineer for their Italian operations. This customer-facing role requires excellent communication skills in both Italian and English, focusing on supporting industrial and partner companies.

The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key industrial partners, supporting customer development of Qualcomm SoC-based products featuring AI, machine learning, computer vision, and cellular communication technologies. The position requires extensive travel to directly support customers and collaboration across multiple teams and locations.

Key responsibilities include training customers on Qualcomm's platforms, supporting the product development lifecycle, understanding customer system requirements, and participating in business discussions. The ideal candidate will have 14+ years of industrial experience supporting embedded/IoT customers, strong communication skills, and expertise in embedded systems and real-time OS.

Technical requirements include familiarity with Linux, Yocto, Ubuntu, windows systems, understanding of computer system architecture, C/C++ programming experience, and hardware systems design knowledge.
