Firmware Engineer with DDR Familiarity

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Firmware Engineer with DDR Familiarity to join their Silicon Validation team. This role is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization responsible for ensuring overall quality of SoC silicon.

As a Firmware Engineer, you'll work closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. Your primary focus will be on SOC validation in pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon regression, with specific emphasis on DDR-related debugging and testing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing DDR-related debug and validation
• Conducting regression and PVT testing
• Managing emulation build validation
• Executing post-silicon regressions
• Implementing drivers and test content
• Working with debug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggers

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of ASIC experience
• Strong C programming skills
• Familiarity with DDR protocol and specifications
• Experience with post-silicon enabling and bring-up
• Proficiency in debugging low-level software and hardware issues
• Knowledge of logic analyzer view of DDR bus (added benefit)
