FY25 Intern - Automotive Engineering Internship - Canada (12 or 16 months)

Qualcomm is seeking bright, energetic, motivated students to join their Canada 2025 intern class for an Automotive Engineering Internship. This 12 or 16-month internship offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive technologies, including next-generation dashboards, active noise suppression, surround view camera systems, ADAS platforms, and various safety features. Interns will work with Snapdragon Automotive systems that supply major car makers globally.

Key aspects of the role:

• Programming in languages such as C, C++, ARM Assembly, Java, Python, Perl, and Javascript
• Working on embedded systems and automotive software development
• Exposure to video codec standards, graphics rendering, computer vision, audio processing, display technologies, and camera sensors
• Opportunity to contribute to software development for safety-critical systems

Requirements:

• Strong programming and debugging skills, especially in C/C++
• Knowledge of computer organizations and operating systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivation and flexibility
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
