Description For FY25 Intern - Automotive Engineering Internship - Canada (12 or 16 months)

Qualcomm is seeking bright, energetic, motivated students to join their Canada 2025 intern class for an exciting opportunity in automotive engineering. Based in Markham, you'll be part of the team developing next-generation automobile technologies using Snapdragon Automotive systems that supply major car makers globally.

The role involves working on cutting-edge automotive features including next-generation dashboards, active noise suppression, birds eye view surround camera systems, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). You'll gain hands-on experience with embedded systems, safety-critical software, and various automotive interfaces and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C/C++, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and an interest in automotive technology. Knowledge of computer organization, operating systems, and areas like video codecs, graphics rendering, computer vision or audio processing is beneficial. Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and basic electronics is a plus.
