Description For Game Test Engineer

Qualcomm China is seeking a Game Test Engineer to join their team in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. This role is part of the Engineering Group, specifically within Systems Test Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for game testing, issue follow-up with developers, test data analysis, post-processing, and virtualization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading customer game-related requirements testing and analysis
  • Designing test strategies for top games and ensuring data accuracy, test efficiency, and output
  • Conducting game research and profiling, following up on issues with developers, and communicating with game studios
  • Exploring new technologies related to mobile and other gaming platforms
  • Supporting other test work as needed, such as feature testing and event support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience
  • Strong data sensitivity and logical skills
  • Rich experience in performance and power testing
  • Experience with mobile and PC games is a plus
  • Familiarity with Android and Linux commands is beneficial
  • Basic written and reading skills in both Chinese and English
  • Strong communication skills, quick learning ability, open-mindedness, and enthusiasm for work
