Description For Game Test Engineer/Sr

Qualcomm China is seeking a Game Test Engineer/Sr for their Engineering Group, specifically in Systems Test Engineering. This role involves testing and modifying general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. The successful candidate will interpret wireless specifications, design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. They will document systems-level defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers. The role requires identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting problems with program function, output, or content. Additionally, the engineer will develop testing programs to assess the effectiveness of new systems or modifications to existing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Game research and profiling
  • Issue follow-up with developers
  • Communication with game studios and development teams
  • Game feature research and case design
  • Leading customer game-related features and requirement testing and analysis
  • New tech exploration related to mobile and PC games
  • Support for other test work such as CA and event support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience
  • Data sensitivity and strong logical skills
  • Experience with various mobile and PC games is a plus
  • Experience with Android and Linux commands is beneficial
  • Basic written and reading skills in both Chinese and English
  • Quick learning ability, open-mindedness, and enthusiasm for work
