Description For GPU Functional Verification Sr Engineer

Qualcomm, a pioneering company in 5G technology and mobile innovation, is seeking a Senior GPU Functional Verification Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role is integral to the GPU Hardware team, which is dedicated to developing industry-leading GPU cores for Qualcomm Snapdragon SOC products.

The position requires a deep understanding of 3D Graphics hardware pipeline and verification methodologies. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology in mobile computing and AR/VR, contributing to Qualcomm's position as an industry leader. The role involves collaborating with worldwide teams on architecture, design, and systems integration.

Key responsibilities include developing test benches, managing test plans, and working with EDA vendors to push the boundaries of verification methodologies. You'll be involved in UVM/SV based constrained random test bench development, subsystem level testing, and utilizing emulation platforms for performance analysis.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of design verification experience, strong knowledge of UVM based System Verilog, and excellent communication skills. Educational requirements include a degree in Electrical, Electronics, VLSI, or related fields.

Responsibilities For GPU Functional Verification Sr Engineer

  • Develop deep understanding of 3-D Graphics hardware pipeline, feature sets, data paths, block functionalities & interfaces
  • Strategize, brainstorm, and propose a DV environment, develop test bench, own test plan, debug all RTL artefacts
  • Engage with EDA vendors, explore new and innovative DV methodologies
  • Collaborate with worldwide architecture, design, and systems teams

Requirements For GPU Functional Verification Sr Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience
  • Strong knowledge of UVM based System Verilog TB
  • Minimum 3 years of Design verification experience
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with formal tools
  • BE/ME/M.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, VLSI, Microelectronics, or equivalent courses
