In this role, you will:
- Leverage advanced GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the performance and power of GPU cores.
- Analyze DX12/OpenCL/Vulkan benchmarks and games, seeking potential hardware or software performance optimization opportunities.
- Build functional model simulations, develop software, and test various graphics to verify correctness and ensure advanced performance and power goals are met.
- Design, program, and run complex, comprehensive graphics tests for large subsystems.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, external users, and across organizations to guide implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals.
- Develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
- Write detailed technical documentation for highly complex GPU projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Master's degree in related field with 3+ years of experience, OR
- PhD in related field with 2+ years of experience
- Strong background in GPU architecture and performance optimization
- Experience with graphics APIs such as DX12, OpenCL, and Vulkan
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in related field
- 2+ years of relevant GPU experience
- 2+ years of work experience interacting with senior leadership
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role (for positions with direct reports)
This position offers a competitive salary range of $151,000 - $227,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and opportunities for annual bonuses and RSU grants.
