Description For Graphics (GPU) Hardware Project Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Graphics (GPU) Hardware Project Engineer to lead core development projects for their Adreno GPU technology. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of GPU technology across multiple markets including mobile, laptops, VR/AR, and gaming.

As a Project Engineer, you'll serve as the technical lead for core development projects, working closely with Product Managers on requirements and Program Managers on execution. Your primary focus will be on technical aspects across functional teams, spanning system architecture, hardware design, verification, and silicon implementation.

The role demands strong technical leadership and decision-making capabilities, as you'll be responsible for ensuring the best possible product outcomes while managing technical risks. You'll work with worldwide teams, drive technical meetings, and represent the GPU engineering team in various forums.

Key responsibilities include partnering with engineering teams on GPU definition and delivery, acting as a technical liaison between hardware engineering and product management, participating in roadmap planning, and driving industry best practices for ASIC engineering. You'll need to quickly adapt to new technical domains and contribute to the strategic direction of GPU cores.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of combined Hardware/Software/System Engineering experience, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Strong communication skills and comfort with technical discussions across software, hardware, and system domains are essential. Experience with ASIC design flow and large-scale worldwide teams is highly valued.
