Responsibilities For Graphics Software Engineer, Staff

  • Architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the structure and performance of critical GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools
  • Write code for complex features, drivers, and APIs using different languages
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests
  • Identify deficiencies and propose solutions to improve designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and external stakeholders
  • Write detailed design documentation and feature descriptions

Requirements For Graphics Software Engineer, Staff

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience
  • 1+ year of work experience with one or more programming language suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C)
  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience (preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred)
  • 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (preferred)
