IPS Baseband Systems Engineer, Up to Senior

Qualcomm's central baseband hardware systems organization is seeking a Baseband Systems Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on designing cutting-edge baseband and embedded system reference designs for Qualcomm's application processors and power management ASICs. The position involves working with highly integrated reference designs incorporating high-performance SOCs, high-speed memories, displays, and various digital & analog peripherals.

The ideal candidate will work across disciplines and geographically diverse teams, leading the design and documentation of reference platforms, performing signal and power integrity analysis, and collaborating closely with ODMs and internal engineering teams. The role specifically focuses on laptop, tablet, and compute-specific baseband reference designs utilizing Qualcomm's technology.

Key responsibilities include developing hardware designs with attention to signal/power integrity, PWB layout & stackup, and schematic entry. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to work effectively with both internal and external engineering teams. The successful candidate will contribute to the co-design of application processor SoCs and work on designs involving multi-layer PWBs, electrical and mechanical integration, and high-speed interfaces.
