IT Engineer, Lead

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an experienced IT Engineer, Lead for their Hyderabad office. This role requires 7 to 9 years of experience as an application administrator with strong expertise in web technologies. The successful candidate will be part of a 24/7 support team for production systems, responsible for management and maintenance of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 production system support
• Work with various IT partners in infrastructure organizations
• Attend customer requests to build infrastructure, IIS, Apache, Web Services, and other related services
• Perform patching and other ISRM activities
• Provide flexible hours support for India business hours (IST)

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7-9 years of experience in application administration and web technologies
• Expertise in IIS, Apache, and other web service technologies
• Experience with Windows, Linux, Tomcat, MySQL, Ruby, CGI, Perl, NLB, and PHP
• Proficiency in Chef, Powershell, and Python
• Knowledge of SSO, Siteminder web agent installation/configuration
• Familiarity with Docker, CHEF, Electric flow, Jenkins/Bamboo
• Experience with web technology monitoring tools like Hyperic, AppDynamics, or Splunk
• Knowledge of containers such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with OS platforms (Linux), Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Web Security
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
