Responsibilities For Lead CPU Performance Projections Engineer

  • Work with stakeholders to gather product specifications
  • Setup CPU/SoC configuration in performance simulator and run simulations
  • Characterize industry standard benchmarks using silicon and/or performance simulator
  • Build analytical performance prediction models for various benchmarks
  • Correlate performance projections vs silicon measurements
  • Document status and results in Jiras
  • Present projection data at various forums

Requirements For Lead CPU Performance Projections Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
  • 2+ years experience in system architecture technology areas
  • Experience with CPU or SoC performance modeling

  • Good understanding of statistical methods
