Qualcomm China is seeking a Machine Learning Test Engineer to join their team. This role combines expertise in AI/ML with testing and quality assurance. The position requires designing and implementing test plans for machine learning systems, automating testing frameworks, and supporting lab environments. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technologies including GenAI, DNNs, and various neural network architectures. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of Android/Linux testing experience and 2+ years of AI/ML work experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct AI model/app research, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Test Engineer
- Design machine learning test plan, provide qualified test report, support RD for issues debugging, initial triage and tracking for projects
- Automation framework deployment, tools development for test quality and efficiency improvement
- Support on lab test environment setup for different functional, performance and quality test purpose
- New tech exploration: AI model/app research, new AI tech and tread, ai test exploration
- Work closely with CE and customer test team for issue triage and test support
Requirements For Machine Learning Test Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of Android platform/Linux embedded system testing experience in Mobile/Windows/XR/IoT/Auto industry
- 2 years of AI/ML relevant work experience
- Basic programming on java/python or C++
- Familiar with AI model pipeline
- Experience of Generative AI on mobile and PC platform
- Industrial experience in machine learning, data procession, image procession
- Experience with DNNs, CNNs, RNN/LSTM, GenAI neural networks
- Data sensitive, strong logic skill, self-motivated
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English
