Multimedia Test Development Engineer

Qualcomm China is seeking a talented Multimedia Test Development Engineer to join their team in Shanghai. This role combines expertise in multimedia technologies with test automation and development skills.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in automation and tool development, particularly on Android platforms and Linux embedded systems. As a Multimedia Test Development Engineer, you'll work closely with software engineers to develop new feature tests, perform code coverage analysis, and optimize test plans for execution efficiency. Your expertise in C/C++, along with knowledge of Java or Python, will be essential for creating robust test automation solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in multimedia technology domains, including audio and video systems. Experience with Android multimedia framework (MediaCodec, Nuplayer) or similar frameworks like FFMPEG, PulseAudio, or GStreamer is highly valued. Knowledge of machine learning is considered a plus.
