  • Architect, design, implement and operate Qualcomm's global data center networks
  • Design, implement and operate Qualcomm's local and global load balancing architectures
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Lead evaluations and implement new technologies
  • Mentor junior engineers, support teams, and customers
  • Troubleshoot complex and high-risk data center networks
  • Perform on-call responsibilities
  • Work with cross-departmental and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with NetOps/DevOps team on network automation and orchestration

Requirements For Network Engineer, Sr.Staff - Data Center Network Architect

  • 8+ years of experience working in large heterogeneous networking environments
  • 5+ years of working experience designing and implementing leaf and spine data center networks
  • 2+ years of working experience with application delivery controllers
  • Expert level knowledge of PKI/SSL, SSL Offload, and DNS
  • Expert level knowledge of protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, QoS
  • Experience with TCP/IP operations and troubleshooting
  • Working experience with Windows, Linux, and VMware
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
