Observability Devops Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Observability DevOps Engineer to join their Information Technology Group. This role focuses on providing technical expertise and support for internal partners during their observability platform onboarding process. The position requires strong proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, particularly in the network monitoring portfolio.

As an Observability DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure to support IT observability of critical applications. You'll work closely with various teams to resolve concerns, manage services for log collection, operational metrics, and distributed tracing, while also participating in incident response and blameless postmortems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Computer Science or related field, with 3+ years of experience in DevOps monitoring tools. You should be familiar with platforms like Datadog, AppDynamics, or similar tools, and have strong systems administration skills in Windows or Linux environments. Experience with cloud services, containers, and programming languages like Python/JavaScript is highly valued.
