Responsibilities For Physical Design Engineer

  • Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems
  • Bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems
  • Work on Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
  • Solve extreme critical timing bottleneck paths
  • Prepare complex ECOs for timing convergence
  • Minimize power consumption

Requirements For Physical Design Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in static timing analysis, constraints and physical implementation
  • Solid understanding of industry standard tools PT, Tempus, GENUS, Innovus, ICC
  • Experience in deep submicron process technology nodes
  • Knowledge of high performance and low power implementation methods
  • Expertise in Perl, TCL language
  • Strong fundamentals
