Platform Performance Software Engineer/Sr

Qualcomm China is seeking a Platform Performance Software Engineer/Sr for their Engineering Group, specifically in Systems Test Engineering. This role focuses on platform performance test & debug for optimization, including benchmarking and user experience. The candidate will be responsible for issue triage and analysis based on platform, including HW architecture, kernel, and Android framework. They will manage test requirements & schedules, design and optimize test plans, publish test reports, and communicate with stakeholders across all sites. The role involves leading and driving tests independently, collaborating with software/hardware engineers and system design engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues. Additionally, the candidate will develop and optimize automation tests to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on platform performance test & debug for optimization
• Issue triage and analysis based on platform components
• Manage test requirements, schedules, and plans
• Lead and drive tests independently
• Develop and optimize automation tests

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of system test/development experience on Android platform products
• Experience with platform performance testing
• Experience with automation test development using Python/Java/C/C++
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Quick learning and open-minded attitude
