Platform Security Software Architect

As a Platform Security Software Architect, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing robust security solutions for cutting-edge compute platforms. The position requires a deep understanding of ARM architecture and security principles, combined with extensive experience in addressing complex security challenges.

In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including SoC, CPU, software, firmware, and software product management. Your responsibilities will span from identifying potential attack vectors to developing comprehensive security architectures, ensuring the protection of Qualcomm's compute platforms.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Leading the technical direction for security architecture and implementation
• Collaborating with various engineering teams to assess and improve security measures
• Engaging with ARM and OCP security forums to stay current with industry developments
• Providing technical leadership and guidance across multiple teams
• Developing detailed documentation and presenting to stakeholders at all levels

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in ARM64 architectures and modern operating systems
• Proven experience in threat modeling and security solution architecture
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of security principles and common security threats
