Description For PMIC System HW-Validation Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a talented PMIC System HW-Validation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work with a leading technology innovator that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in next-generation experiences.

As a PMIC System HW-Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. Your work will involve hands-on experience with lab instruments, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and JTAG debuggers, while focusing on Post-Si Validation and hardware-level bench measurements.

The ideal candidate should have 1-4 years of experience in HW/FW/SW aspects of electronic product development, with strong knowledge of PMIC, Power Management, and Microcontroller architecture. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as C#, F#, Python, or LabVIEW, and have a solid understanding of hardware schematics and PCB interconnections.

  • Leading white-box validation efforts for hardware modules
  • Automating test cases via SW-control for HW-systems
  • Debugging DC-DC converters and power systems

Responsibilities For PMIC System HW-Validation Engineer

  • Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems
  • Perform bring-up yield testing
  • Work on circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
  • Lead and execute white-box validation efforts
  • Automate test-cases via SW-control for HW-systems
  • Debug DC-DC (SMPS, LDO) converters

Requirements For PMIC System HW-Validation Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 1-4 years of job experience in HW/FW/SW aspects of electronic product development
  • Knowledge of PMIC, Power Management, Microcontroller architecture
  • Strong hands-on lab experience in Post-Si Validation
  • Hands-on ability with lab instruments like oscilloscopes, power supplies, JTAG debuggers
  • Good programming skills in C#, F#, Python, Perl, LabVIEW or other scripting languages
  • Familiarity with HW schematics and PCB interconnections
  • Good analytical and communication skills
