CPU Core Validation Sr Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior CPU Core Validation Engineer to join their CPU Validation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge CPU core pipeline architecture and micro-architecture features validation.

The position involves developing comprehensive test plans for IP architecture and micro-architecture features, working closely with CPU design and verification teams for bring-up and functional validation. You'll be responsible for developing validation methodologies and test content for both pre-Silicon emulator phase and actual Silicon implementation.

As a senior member of the team, you'll collaborate with SOC bring-up teams and software teams to plan CPU core features bring-up and end-to-end validation. Your expertise will be crucial in triaging and debugging Silicon failures, developing test content, and working with CPU verification teams to reproduce silicon fails on emulators and FPGAs.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in computer architecture, with at least 5 years of experience in Silicon validation and bring-up. Knowledge of assembly, C/C++ language embedded firmware, and experience with software tool chains is essential. Understanding of micro-processor architecture concepts such as Cache Coherence, Memory ordering, Branch Prediction, and Address Translation is highly valued.
