Description For Power Delivery Network Engineer

This role is part of the central hardware system (CHS) team, which is responsible for developing cutting-edge package technology and system-level power and signal integrity solutions.

The position focuses on developing Power Distribution Network (PDN) solutions for high-performance processors, requiring expertise in electrical design, simulation, and analysis. Responsibilities For Power Delivery Network Engineer

  • Apply electrical design expertise to develop Power Distribution Network(PDN) solutions, perform simulation, analysis, and debug
  • Conduct power integrity analysis for high speed application processor cores
  • Extract PCB and PKG PDN parameters using standard industry tools
  • Perform Lab measurements of PDN in frequency and time domains
  • Define bump and ball patterns and decoupling capacitance scheme
  • Work with system designers, design verification and physical design teams

Requirements For Power Delivery Network Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering with 4+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years or PhD with 2+ years
  • Experience with architecture and design tools
  • Experience with scripting tools and programming languages
  • Experience with design verification methods
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
