Description For Power Integrity Engineer

Qualcomm Power Integrity group is seeking a skilled power integrity engineer to join their team working on next-generation application processors, graphic processors, and modems for mobile, auto, and wireless LAN platforms. This role combines technical expertise in power integrity analysis with system optimization and design. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in semiconductor industry practices, particularly in power integrity analysis and measurements. They will be responsible for critical aspects of chip design including SOC floor planning, system optimization, and package/PCB optimization.   • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor industry
  • M.S.C in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of package and PCB design techniques
  • Understanding of power integrity concepts
  • Experience in power integrity analysis
  • Experience in presenting design trade-off analyses
  • Expertise in using Agilent ADS, Hspice and Cadence/Mentor extraction tools
  • Understanding of measurement techniques
  • Knowledge of SOC floor planning
