Description For Power Integrity Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Power Integrity Engineer to join their Data Center team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the development of high-performance, energy-efficient server solutions for data center applications.

As a Power Integrity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming the industry through innovative silicon and next-generation computing platforms. You'll work closely with world-class engineers to push the boundaries of performance and energy efficiency. The position involves leading the definition, analysis, and verification of end-to-end power integrity solutions from die to system level.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (SoC, firmware/software, packaging, and system design), performing PDN modeling and simulation, developing implementation guidelines, and conducting model-to-hardware correlation. You'll be instrumental in defining module interfaces, leading PI model creation, and streamlining design workflows.

The ideal candidate will bring a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Integrity, along with 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills in PI analysis, simulation tools, and PDN measurements are essential. Knowledge of packaging technologies and hands-on experience with electrical validation tools are crucial for success in this role.

Qualcomm offers an exceptional compensation package, including competitive base salary ($192,600 - $330,400), annual bonus opportunities, and RSU grants. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and educational support. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading technology company and work on innovative solutions that shape the future of data center computing.

The role is based in multiple locations across the United States, offering flexibility while maintaining an in-person work environment. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to pushing technological boundaries and delivering next-generation computing solutions. If you're passionate about power integrity engineering and want to make a significant impact in the data center industry, this role at Qualcomm presents an ideal opportunity for career growth and technical innovation.
