Description For Power Integrity Engineer

Qualcomm Data Center team is seeking talented and innovative engineers to join their cutting-edge technology work. The team is focused on transforming the industry by developing next-generation computing platforms that push the boundaries of performance and energy efficiency.

As a Power Integrity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, analyze, and verify end-to-end power integrity solutions. You'll work closely with SoC, firmware/software, packaging, and system design teams to implement power architectures that meet both internal and customer requirements.

The position offers an opportunity to work with world-class engineers on innovative solutions that impact the data center industry. You'll be responsible for PDN modeling, simulation, and characterization, while also developing implementation guidelines and conducting model-to-hardware correlation.

Responsibilities For Power Integrity Engineer

  • Collaborate with SoC, firmware/software, packaging, and system design teams
  • Perform PDN modeling, simulation, and characterization
  • Develop and provide implementation guidelines
  • Conduct model-to-hardware correlation
  • Define module interfaces and formats
  • Lead PI model creation, simulation, and final design development
  • Streamline and automate design and analysis workflows
  • Prepare and present technical documentation

Requirements For Power Integrity Engineer

Linux
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Integrity (PI)
  • 6+ years of experience in PI analysis, simulation, and PDN measurements
  • Strong understanding of PI fundamentals, power supply architectures
  • Experience developing PI methodologies and PDN modeling
  • Proficiency in PI simulation tools
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments
  • Knowledge of packaging and PCB technologies
  • Hands-on experience in electrical validation
