Principal Chipset Software Project Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Chipset Software Project Engineer to lead software teams in developing and commercializing software for QCT chipsets. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of Snapdragon products, including system architecture, hardware-software contracts, and high-level software design. You'll lead teams in architecting and implementing telemetry frameworks for the compute ecosystem, working closely with Microsoft and other partners to drive OS improvements and new features.

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving project planning activities, providing software assessments, and ensuring smooth execution under tight schedules. You'll work with cross-functional teams to coordinate planning, commitments, and schedules, while also participating in product definition and hardware decisions to optimize software impact.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Leading pre-Silicon planning and workshops to ensure successful bring-up
• Driving day-to-day project execution through SW scrums and system-level issue resolution
• Managing bring-up efforts, typically involving 6-8 weeks of around-the-clock coordination
• Serving as the central point for resolving cross-functional issues
• Collaborating with customer engineering teams and OEMs
