In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating state-of-the-art cellular technologies across technology prototypes, standards, specifications, products, and components. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality air interface and modems that meet and exceed industry standards and customer requirements.
The position requires extensive experience in wireless systems and embedded software development, with a focus on cellular technologies. You'll leverage your expert knowledge to research, design, standardize, implement, optimize, verify, validate, and commercialize Wireless WAN air interfaces and modem technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing highly critical wireless systems and modems
- Collaborating with high-level stakeholders on air interface and modem development
- Creating well-defined architectures meeting complex requirements
- Leading system integration into standards, chipsets, and platforms
- Providing technical leadership and supervision to team members
Requirements include:
- 8+ years of experience in relevant engineering fields
- Advanced degree preferred in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python
- Experience with embedded systems and wireless technologies
- Leadership experience in technical roles

Responsibilities For Principal Engineer
- Design, optimize, and implement highly critical wireless systems and modems
- Collaborate with high-level stakeholders to develop high quality air interface and modems
- Create well-defined architectures that meet requirements
- Lead the integration of architecture and systems into standards, chipsets, platforms, or products
- Write detailed technical documentation for highly complex projects
- Provide supervision to direct reports
Requirements For Principal Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 8+ years of experience
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems
- 4+ years in a technical leadership role
- 1+ year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience
