Principal Enterprise Data Architect

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the development and implementation of Qualcomm's enterprise data architecture strategy
• Design and manage robust, scalable data models and architectures
• Design the Master Data Management strategy
• Collaborate with IT leadership, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
• Guide the selection and integration of advanced data management platforms and tools
• Define and implement data governance and quality standards
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Mentor and lead teams of data engineers and architects
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable data architecture roadmaps

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data strategy roles
• 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Data Architect leading vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Expertise in a broad range of data management technologies and platforms
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and methodologies
• Experience with data governance, data quality management, master data management, and data security practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields
• Experience with machine learning models and AI-driven analytics
• Familiarity with industry-specific data standards and regulations
• Strong business acumen
