The position involves working on Product Software development and testing tasks across multiple platforms, including Linux, Android OS, and automotive infotainment systems. You'll be collaborating with various Qualcomm Engineering teams including Software, Systems, Hardware, Architecture, and Test teams to deliver end-to-end product software solutions for customers.
Key responsibilities include integrating software components and configurations, maintaining automation for continuous integration systems, resolving build failures, and managing software configurations using version control systems. You'll also be responsible for sanity testing incremental builds and debugging any failures using on-target debugging tools such as JTAG, ADB, and simulators.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with software development on ARM-based RTOS platforms, Android or other high-level OS for Mobile, Compute, IoT, or Automotive products is highly valued. Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with version control systems like GIT or Perforce are essential.
