Security IP DV Sr Staff Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

For this Security IP DV Sr Staff Engineer role, you will be working on security protocols such as Crypto, Inline cryptography, and PRNG/TRNG. You should have experience in handling a team size of 5-10 people and have expertise in Low power verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test security-related electronic systems
• Lead a team of 5-10 people in security IP design verification
• Work on security protocols including Crypto, Inline cryptography, and PRNG/TRNG
• Conduct Low power verification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge, world-class products

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
• OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
• OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of security protocols, especially Crypto, Inline cryptography, and PRNG/TRNG
• Experience in leading a team of 5-10 people
• Expertise in Low power verification
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
