Senior Engineer - System Power Performance

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer for System Power Performance in Hyderabad, India. This role is part of the Engineering Group, specifically in Software Applications Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system power and performance analysis, with a focus on Android devices.

Key responsibilities include conducting system power, performance, and CPU/GPU workload analysis, as well as benchmarking and KPI generation. The engineer will be involved in power and performance validation, debugging issues on Android devices, and performing architecture analysis to optimize system performance.

The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with customers, providing timely and accurate answers to complex inquiries. The engineer will also collaborate with the design engineering team to suggest modifications and solutions based on customer needs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages is essential, along with experience in RTOS, OS internals, and kernel programming. Familiarity with UNIX/Win/Linux platforms and software environments/toolchains (GNU toolchains/GIT/GERRIT) is required.
