Senior Pre/Post Silicon Validation Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Pre/Post Silicon Validation Engineer to join their Modem Validation Team within the central SoC digital hardware organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the overall quality of SoC & Modem silicon through comprehensive testing and validation.

The position requires a strong background in digital communication principles and expertise in programming languages including C, Python, and C++. You'll work in an embedded environment, preferably with knowledge of modem technologies and data flow through the modem. Experience with analog debugging and RF test equipment is also valuable.

As a member of the team, you'll collaborate closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. Your responsibilities will include creating test content for cellular modem and RF subsystem validation, implementing drivers, and performing system-level debugging using various tools and methodologies.

Key technical areas include:

• Systems Debug (Emulation, SoC Architectures, Modem architecture)
• Hardware Platforms & firmware
• Cellular technologies
• Logic Analyzers and JTAG
• CPU Core and Digital Modem RF testing

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in emulation and silicon environments, strong programming skills, and a deep understanding of CPU, Modem, and SoC architectures. Knowledge of cellular technologies (UMTS, LTE) and experience with post-silicon enabling and bring-up are significant advantages.
